Privacy, security, confidentiality and great customer service are important to BIBO. You should understand that when buying from BIBO you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Your contract is with BIBO Ltd (“BIBO”) of Unit 15, The Blenheim Sawmills, Swan Lane, Combe, OX29 8ET.
You agree that e-mail will be used as the standard means of communication. If your order is accepted, we will send you an e-mail confirming this. BIBO does not store credit card information. We do not sell our customer’s details.
We will use your personal information to administer your account and to provide you with the products and services you have requested from us. This includes sending you information to help you look after your BIBO.
We may also use your Personal Information to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link or instructions provided in any email we send.
BIBO uses Tyl for online credit and debit card clearing, in conjunction with NatWest Bank. We charge for the order in full at the time the order is placed. For our finance agreement option. BIBO uses DivideBuy.
You undertake that all details which you provide to us for the purpose of ordering goods are correct, that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the order. Your statutory rights are not affected but otherwise all purchases are non-exchangeable, non-refundable and non-transferable. All prices on this site include United Kingdom VAT at the prevailing rate.
If you have a discount code, then it must be entered into the voucher code box in ‘your cart’, and must be done so at time of ordering. We will not be able to apply a discount code to an order after it has been processed, and no refunds will be given. If you wish to apply a discount code to an item that you have on back order with the order will need to be placed again, (and postage paid again) as we are unable to apply a discount onto an order that we have already received and charged for.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order at any time for reasons including but not limited to: product or service availability, errors in the description or price of the product or service. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order if fraud or an unauthorised transaction is suspected. We can only guarantee orders with delivery to Mainland UK. If you’re placing an order for non-mainland UK delivery, we may be able to fulfil the order, but there may be additional charges applicable. Areas including but not limited to: Isle of Wight, Scottish Highlands and islands, Northern Ireland.
Delivery & Shipping Costs
Shipping costs quoted at the time of your order can be subject to change. If there are any increases to costs once your order has been placed, we will contact you to discuss these changes before we ship any items to you.
If you order products from our Website for delivery outside of the UK, they may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.
For customers opting for self-installation, delivery will be made by our dedicated courier service. We reserve the right to change supplier without notice. You are responsible for ensuring the delivery details that you provide are accurate. Our dedicated courier may provide services to amend your delivery instructions, any changes are made at your own risk, and in accordance with the service provider’s terms and conditions of use.
You must report damaged, undelivered, or lost goods to us within 5 working days of their due delivery date. Notifications should be made by email to firstname.lastname@example.org .
Installing your BIBO
The self-installation option is provided to give customers greater choice. BIBO provides a standard self-installation kit, including only the components for the most common water supply configurations. We do not guarantee that the standard installation kit is compatible with your cold-water supply configuration. We try to help customers identify their installation requirements remotely, all advice is given in good faith, and based on our staff’s interpretation of the information provided. The company will not be liable for inaccuracies in the information provided regarding the cold-water supply configuration.
Guidance for self-installation is included in the BIBO User Manual, however self-installation is carried out entirely at the customer’s own risk, BIBO will not accept any liability for any damages or costs incurred by the customer, resulting from the installation of products supplied by the company. Your statutory rights are not affected.
The components included in the self-installation kit carry a manufacturer’s warranty. However, BIBO is not responsible for component failures due to improper installation of the components.
We will contact you to arrange your installation at your home anywhere within the UK mainland excluding the Scottish Highlands and Islands.
You may cancel the installation up to 24hrs before your scheduled appointment. If you cancel within 24hrs of your scheduled appointment you may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to £65 (inc VAT). If the attending engineer is unable to complete the installation for any of the following reasons, you may be subject to an additional charge of £78 (inc VAT), for an engineer to reattend.
- The engineer is unable to gain access to the site/property/location
- The electricity or water supply is unsuitable or inaccessible
- The stopcock or isolation valve is not in working order, or is inaccessible
- The engineer deems the site/property/location to be unsafe
- Incorrect information has been provided during the sales survey or appointment scheduling survey
Please be aware, we recommend that your BIBO is installed on a standard kitchen worktop. If you choose to have your unit installed in an alternative location, including non-standard kitchen worktops, BIBO will not accept any liability for damages to property, including superficial or structural damage resulting from spillages or leaks. Furthermore, BIBO will not accept liability for damages to property stored on, or adjacent to the unit, resulting from spillages or leaks.
Cooling off period
In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulation 2000 you have a cooling off period of 7 working days in which to cancel your order. We hope that you will be delighted with your BIBO, but please remember that if you decide within the first seven working days of receipt that the goods are not to your satisfaction you may return them to us. All we ask is that you return the goods in their original packaging and condition.
How to return or exchange items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you may be entitled to a refund or replacement where goods are faulty or not as described. If the item is damaged or faulty, you must notify us within 14 days of discovery, we will arrange collection of the item by dedicated courier.
The return of items which are not damaged or faulty, must be made within 28 days of purchase, and in their original condition. These items may be returned for a full refund or exchange, but this is done at your own cost and the original installation charge or delivery charge paid will not be refunded.
If you have requested a refund, this will be processed within 21 days of receipt of your returned items. If this refund is made directly to your credit card this should appear on your next credit card statement. If you have returned an item, we ask that you allow up to 14 working days for the item to be received back with us and be processed by our returns department, before you query the return.
Every care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions and specifications are correct at the time of going to press. However, while the colour reproduction is a close representation, a very slight variation in the actual goods may occur.
Every purchase you make shall be deemed performed in England. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed, construed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
These terms and conditions contain the entire agreement between you and BIBO relating to your purchase. You are responsible for reading all information in these terms and conditions fully. If any of these terms are held to be invalid or unenforceable, those terms will be struck out and the other terms remain.
We may amend these terms and conditions from time to time. All purchases from the date of posting onwards will be governed by that new version.
BIBO attempts to ensure that the information available on the website at any one time is true and accurate but cannot guarantee that it will be error-free. BIBO does not make any warranty that the website is free from infection by viruses, trojans, worms or anything else that may have destructive properties. BIBO does not accept liability for any errors and omissions and reserves the right to change information, specifications and descriptions of listed goods, products and services. BIBO will do its best to correct errors and omissions as quickly as practicable after being notified of them. BIBO makes no representations about the fitness for a particular purpose of any of the products or services available on its website. BIBO does not accept liability for any indirect or consequential loss arising out of the purchase of any of the products or services purchased. BIBO will only be liable for direct loss up to a maximum total of the price of the product or service purchased in respect of any claim. This Liability section applies only to the extent permitted by law.
